Affiliated Force Inc. has been in business since 1997. We have in excess of 75 years experience in the loading dock/material handling business.

We have manufactured in excess of 35,000 power units that range from 1/3 to 10 horsepower with pressures up to 4000 psi.

Our dock leveller line of power units come equipped with American manufactured LEESON 1 horsepower motors.

We currently stock 115/208/230 volt single phase 60hz motors with 50 hz available as well as 208/230/460 volt three phase 50/60 hz, and 575 volt three phase 50/60 motors.

Each and every power unit is tested with the use of pressure gauges and cylinders as per customer requirements and our specifications and are cycled no less than 20 times.

Power units are tested without reservoirs to ensure that both the main pressure relief valve and the sequence valve perform properly.

Power units are tested with filtered hydraulic fluid.

Some compatible fluids include MULTI-VIS MV22, MOBIL AERO HFA (49011), EXXON UNIVIS GRADE J13, US OIL CO # 5606 LOW TEMP, AND SHELL TELLUS T22. Affiliated Force uses steel reservoirs available in 1 and 2 gallon capacity that are tested for leaks after installation.

Reservoirs are pressurized and a soap and water solution is applied to all possible leaks points to ensure a positive seal. Flows available are 1.45, 2.3, and 3.0 GPM.

Pressure settings are dependent on flow required and horsepower available.

We recommend a minimum 30 amps dedicated service. Customer connections are # 6 SAE.

Our hydraulic power units can be used with most hydraulic dock leveller brands.

Affiliated Force’s easy to use Conversion Kits are the key for transferring those old mechanical Dock Levelers into fully hydraulic push button operated Dock levellers.

Voltages available are 115/208/230 single, 208/230/460 volt three phase and 575 volt three phase.

A complete Conversion kit comes with (1) fully hydraulic power unit (your choice of voltage)

(1) Main Cylinder, (1) Lip Cylinder, (4) Mounting brackets, (2) 60”
hydraulic hoses, (1) push button/motor starter, (1) power unit mounting bracket, (1) Velocity Fuse.

Affiliated Force offers a hydraulic dock leveller power unit seminar free of charge. In this seminar we teach service techs how to adjust the hydraulic dock leveller power units.

We also go through many different trouble shooting procedures to make the install and service a smooth success.
