The Other Side of the Door is a 2016 American-British supernatural horror film directed by Johannes Roberts and co-written by Roberts and Ernest Riera. Everyone feels good. Door to the Other Side – also known as Reclusion in other regions – is the antidote to that warm feeling in your tummy you get whenever you lend someone a cup of sugar, highlighting why one should never truly offer support of any kind. The entire concept felt half baked. Though this is a budget film the director, Norman Lesperance, does an absolutely wonderful job of creating a decent horror movie. That does come back into play at some point, but its reveal is completely dependent on how much you’ll still care by then. Overall, this is not a bad thing.
A shut in neighbor gets help from his attractive neighbors in an attempt to re socialize. But still they pushed on and give unconditional love. Whilst watching Door to the Other Side, I was often reminded of Observance, the Australian shocker, in which director Joseph Sims-Dennett expertly racks up the tension whilst taking his own sweet time.
He seems haunted by a supernatural force that makes him sick and short of breath, and he has flashbacks to pieces of something in the past that is suggested to have caused his trauma.Be patient with the plot development, as it is worth the payoff at the end.
