The texture was exactly like beef (at least the way I remember it): loose and tender, speckled with pockets of juicy fat. (But don’t expect your A&W veggie burger to bleed — that’s the Impossible Burger, another buzzed-about patty, which isn’t available in Canada.). Any committed carnivore isn’t going to mistake this … The Beyond Burger also has 2g fiber and lacks dietary cholesterol, so all in all, it is slightly healthier—though not nearly as much as a traditional veggie burger. It looked like a burger, smelled like a burger and tasted…nothing like beef.
