I have also read Carlton Leach's autobiography, which indicates that this movie is surprisingly accurate. One of my favorite gangster films. It's a great movie and I only found out about it through friends at work. If your are a fan of Tom Hardy in the movie, "The Krays" (about UK organized crime in the late 1960's), then you will like Rise of the Foot Soldier. This film was an adaptation from the book written by Carlton Leach (former villain and friend to those murdered in '95) The story is based on the life of Carlton Leach, a former football hooligan turn from fighting in the terraces to becoming one of the most respected bouncers in Essex and London.
